Experiential learning can include an internship, consulting projects, residency experience and/or portfolio projects. This degree requires 49 credits of coursework. What will I Learn?
A special feature of the Drexel program is the opportunity to choose between several different methods of gaining hands-on practice through experiential learning. Students can choose to complete a Graduate Internship, Business Seminar and Residency, Business Consulting course, Business Agility and IT course, Negotiations for Leaders course, or a Tax Experiential Learning Course.
The required program courses begin with Essentials of Financial Reporting, Business Analytics for Managers, and Managerial Economics. Students learn more about the daily activities of the manager in Corporate Financial Management, Strategy Analysis, and Managing and Leading the Total Enterprise. Further required topics are covered in Marketing Strategy, Managing and Leading the Total Enterprise, and Leading in Dynamic Environments: A Personal, Relational and Strategic Approach. Students also take Operations and Supply Chain Management.
All students must take a required MBA Capstone course.
The curriculum offers a substantial opportunity for customization, with nine credits taken in the student’s area of concentration, plus eleven electives in any subject area.
