What will I Learn?

The Loyola New Orleans online MBA curriculum is influenced throughout by Jesuit ideals of ethics and academic excellence. All students must complete an introductory course in Applied Business Mathematics, before applying these skills in courses in Financial and Managerial Accounting and Managerial Economics and Statistics.  Intense discussion and debate is a hallmark of the course in Ethics and Social Justice, while students apply their ethical acumen to practical issues in Organizational Leadership. Students learn to be exemplary communicators in Strategic Communication and Strategic Marketing.

All students are required to complete a capstone experience entitled Competitive Strategy, in which they will bring together their knowledge and skills to examine a series of real-world management problems. Practicum experiences are optional. These include the  Non-Profit Consulting Practicum, in which students are partnered with a non-profit institution, and the Global Practicum, an immersion project in which students address issues and problems within a multinational company. Students may also choose to participate in the IdeaCorps MBA Consulting Challenge competition, in order to gain experience in advancing a real-life startup company through its development.

How much will the program cost?
