Program Description This degree requires 48 credits of coursework. Students do not complete a capstone course or other culminating experience. There are no formal requirements for an internship or practicum. Most students complete the program within 2 years. 3 concentration areas are offered: Data analytics, Finance, and Sports Business. The program emphasizes a cross-disciplinary approach, critical thinking, excellence in communication, collaboration, and corporate and social responsibility. 


What will I Learn?

This program offers a unique concentration in Sports Business alongside more traditional specializations in Data Analytics and Finance. Students take 2-3 electives in order to fulfill their concentration requirements.

The curriculum is informed by Christian values, integrating an emphasis on corporate and social responsibility. Graduates will be equipped with knowledge that crosses disciplinary boundaries, enabling them to communicate and collaborate effectively in diverse teams. Graduates will be to identify and solve business problems through effective action and ethical decision-making.

Required courses begin with Managerial Communication and Analysis, Accounting for Decision Making and Economics of Competitive Strategy. Students then take Managerial Finance, Management Information Systems and and Communication Technology, and Human Resources and Organization Management. The curriculum also includes required classes in Marketing Strategy, Operation Management, Managing Corporate Integrity and Strategic Management.

How does the program fit into my life?

Some of the classes in the program are taught at set times through videoconferencing. This is called “synchronous learning.”  Some are asynchronous, which means that students can do their work each week on their own time. For example, if they need to, they can watch videos of lectures that have already been recorded. Participants do not need to visit the campus in-person at any point during the program unless they wish.

Offering three starts per year, in Fall, Spring, and Summer, this program allows you to begin your studies at your convenience. Students complete the program within 2 years. Most students complete their studies on a full-time basis.
