Program Description This degree requires 48 credits of coursework. Students complete a capstone course to consolidate and extend the knowledge learned throughout the program. There is no internship or practicum requirement. Most students complete the program within 2 years. 5 concentration areas are offered: Business Intelligence & Analytics; Global Supply Chain & Operations Management; Information Technology & UX Design; Innovation & Entrepreneurship; Product Management & Marketing.  The program focuses on the leadership, marketing and operational skills needed to build successful companies particularly in the technology and science domains. 

 

What will I Learn?

The Worcester curriculum is aimed at developing leaders and entrepreneurs within the fields of science and technology, who excel at connecting great ideas to great people and who can build successful organizations. Graduates will attain analytical, operational and marketing skills necessary for building sustainable organizations. Leadership and communication are emphasized throughout. 

A distinctive feature of the Worcester degree is the required capstone project. In this project, students bring together skills taught in three specialization courses and two elective courses, as well as the core curriculum.

The core curriculum consists of courses in Business Intelligence, Financial Management, Leadership; Marketing Strategy, and Operations Management. Curriculum strands are brought together and reconsolidated in courses in Integrative Business Foundation and Strategic Management.
