The program focuses on core business principles and takes use of Kogod’s Washington, D.C. location by offering students the chance to make new relationships inside our nation’s capital during in-person immersions.
Foundational courses required are Business Fundamentals; Business Law, Ethics, and Governance and Financial Accounting. The role of leadership in business is considered in Managerial Economics and Corporate Strategy, Financial Management, and the Manager in the Digital Economy.
Students learn the nuts and bolts of the managerial role in Managerial Accounting and Operations Management, Management of Organizations and Human Capital, and Applied Managerial Statistics. Innovation and decision-making are the focus of Managing Digital Organizations; Strategic Thinking for Decisions, Marketing Management, and Strategic Decision Making.
Students can choose to specialize in one of the following concentrations: entrepreneurship, finance, business analytics, cybersecurity, consulting, legal studies and marketing.
