Program Description This program offers distinctive concentrations in Project Management and the Value-Driven Organization, along with nine other concentrations:  Business Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Health Systems Leadership, Human Resources Management, Information Systems, Logistics Management and Marketing. Across 36 credits of required curriculum, completed within 1-2 years, students learn to integrate all areas of business and become globally-oriented managers. Ethics, group collaboration, communication and technology skills are developed in courses that emphasize hands-on case study learning models. 

 

What will I Learn?

The aim of the CMU online MBA is to prepare students for careers in a globally-oriented environment through integration of all the areas of the business world. The curriculum uses hands-on and applied learning to develop both technical acumen and soft skills such as communication, teamwork and collaboration.

How does the program fit into my life?

All courses have at least some synchronous class meetings, in which students attend an online class at a specific time. Students are not required to visit campus unless they wish. They complete the program within 1-2 years. Offering three start dates per year, the program accepts new students in the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.

Summary

The CMU program emphasizes teamwork, project management and applied learning. If you have a special interest in SAP business software, keep in mind that this program has a very active student SAP club and a strong record of helping students achieve TS410/TERP-10 for SAP certification. Students also excel in certification exams for the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Yellow Belt.

Applicants with special interest in project management may want to take a second look at CMU, as will students who are intrigued by the idea of specializing in the Value-Driven Organization, or in participating in start-up competitions.
