What will I Learn?
The curriculum of the Goizueta MBA at Emory is based on a collaborative cohort structure in which all students move through the curriculum together, completing applied projects and learning from one another. Foundational courses begin with Data & Decision Analytics, Financial Reporting & Analysis and Global Business Practices. Students also take Managerial Economics, Managerial Finance, Marketing Management, Organizational Behavior & Leadership, Process & Systems Management and Strategic Management.
Students then take two courses unique to the Emory MBA: Goizueta Plus and Goizueta IMPACT. Goizueta Plus is a “cornerstone” course that builds students career skills through units on presentation skills, professional development, and teamwork. The Goizueta IMPACT course is a consulting-based practicum experience in which students are paired with Atlanta-area corporations and nonprofits.
Students can choose to specialize in one of the following concentrations: Strategy, Finance, Healthcare, Information Systems and Operations Management.

How does the program fit into my life?
All classes require weekly synchronous class meetings, conducted through videoconferencing at a scheduled time. The program also requires at least one on-campus visit for the required orientation, and additional visits may be required for experiential learning. Students can start the program in the Fall semester.
Students complete the program within 18 months. The program is designed to be completed at an accelerated pace, and students should expect to focus intensely on their studies during their degree program. Emory employs an innovative interactive online classroom structure for its synchronous classes, and is starting to develop virtual holographic classroom environments for online learning.
Students have access to electives from the Full-Time MBA and Evening MBA programs at Goizueta, as well as those from the university’s other professional schools. During three years after graduation, Goizueta Executive MBA alums may pursue up to three electives.
