Program Description | The program’s 36 credits can be completed within 12, 18 or 24 months. Students are not required to complete a capstone course. No internship or practicum is offered. Students can specialize within 7 concentration areas. All areas emphasize problem-solving, leading teams, effective communication, critical thinking and decision-making based on Christian values. |
What will I Learn?
Graduates will be able to tackle business challenges using methodologies from a range of disciplines. They will exhibit expertise of team leadership, including inspiring and influencing people. Union trains graduates to be skilled communicators, capable of preparing and delivering oral and written presentations while utilizing relevant technology. Students also learn critical thinking and decision-making skills, which are aided by the right use of analytical and quantitative tools.
The Christian worldview is woven throughout the program and is at the forefront of curriculum objectives.
All students must complete a required Orientation course.
They then go on to study a suite of required courses including Managerial Economics, Analytical Managerial Accounting and Ethical Management. Further skills are developed in Managerial Finance, Strategic Marketing and Strategic Management. They develop on-the job skills in Organizational Behavior and their choice a course in Operations Management or in Business Analytics.
Students can choose to specialize in one of the following concentrations: Accounting, Business Analytics, Healthcare Management, Human Resource Management, Leadership, Marketing or Supply Chain Management.
