Program Description  Within 36 required credits, all students are required to take an orientation course, and distinctive required courses include Negotiation and Real Estate Finance.  Students do not complete a capstone course in this generalist program with no concentrations offered. A practicum is also not required, and most students complete the program within two years. 

 

What will I Learn?

Students move through the curriculum in a lockstep sequence, as a cohort of peers.

The required course pathway begins with finance and economics foundations in Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Investments and Managerial Economics. Students then examine specialized managerial roles in Management Information Systems, Real Estate Finance, and Quantitative Analysis.

The next block of required courses consists of Managerial Accounting, Business Ethics, Production/Operations Management and Marketing Management. Higher-level people skills are taught in Negotiations, Strategic Management, and Organizational Behavior.
